BAPTIST CHURCH
At Heritage Baptist Church, we offer a variety of ministries for our people to serve in. These ministries allow us to reach the lost, grow the saints, and help others in need. Whether you are a parent that is wanting your children to learn more about the Bible or a senior saint looking for a good church home, there is room for you to grow at HBC!
Nursery
At Heritage Baptist Church, our loving nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment for children 0-3 years old. Parents can have peace of mind that their young children are well taken care of while they attend one of our Sunday School classes or worship services.
Children's Ministry
Our children enjoy singing fun songs, hearing stories from God's word, doing crafts, and memorizing Bible verses. Our teachers enjoy sharing the important truths found in the Bible, such as obedience, sharing, being kind, and best of all, who Jesus is!
At Heritage, we are honored to have Bro. Clarence and Dana Cloninger oversee the children’s ministry of our church. They love each and every child that walks through our doors and they have a desire to see them grow up to follow God's plan for their lives.
Teen Ministry
Teenagers are at a crucial point in their life. They are approaching a crossroads where they will decide which direction their life will go. With worldly influences constantly pulling our youth the wrong direction, God's church must do it's part in pulling them back to God.
Bro. Josh and his wife, Kimberly, have a heart for teenagers. From teaching our teen Sunday School class, to personally investing in them on an individual level, they truly desire God's will for each and every teenager at our church. They are a blessing to our teens and our church!
Bus Ministry
While we have a world vision for the lost, we have kept our vision for those next door. For that reason we run buses every Sunday to pick up both children and adults in our community that could not otherwise attend church services. Our buses go to the highways and hedges to reach everyone for Christ. We long for every child, teen, and adult in the Little Rock area to have a way to get to church to learn of God and His love for us. Our Church is honored to have Bro. Micah Kennedy and his wife Heidi as the bus ministry director of our church. They desire for every rider to have fun, learn God’s word, and be picked up/dropped off safely.
Restore and Recover Ministry
Restore & Recovery Ministry at Heritage is a place of healing and hope for those coming out of prison, jail, or the throes of addictions and strongholds. We offer a safe place of love and acceptance no matter where you have been. Our purpose is to help those who are dead in their addiction and to restore them to a life of godliness by teaching Bible truths of growth and encouragement.
We accomplish this through group meetings that emphasize the power of God’s redeeming love which transforms a person into a new creation in Christ Jesus. Our Church is honored to have Caleb Kelly and his wife Michelle who provide Biblical truth and counseling with those who are struggling to help them to have hope and victory in Jesus Christ to overcome strongholds in their lives.
Helps Ministry
Helps is a ministry. It's not an obligation, an assignment, or a duty; it is serving others. It doesn't matter if you're an usher, a greeter, work with our sound/media equipment, serve in bus ministry, work with our children's ministry, or take care of the nursery... you are serving the Lord Jesus Christ and His church!
Here at Heritage , we are honored to have Bro. Dale Musgrave and his wife Linda serving in many different areas of our church. From driving our handicap bus to teaching in Sunday School classes, they are a true asset to our church. We are very grateful for them and their service to the Lord.
